Six Reasons To Believe What I Say

Reason one: Experts agree that 70% of disease is caused by stress! Medical research is seeing a direct link between diseases and stress. Some estimates say 40 - 80% of all visits to doctors may be directly related to stress. There are many, many conditions likely caused by stress. The following is just a small example of stress related diseases:

heart disease anxiety attacks
chronic fatigue mood swings
psychological distress sleep problems
depression high blood pressure
eating disorders poor immune function
peptic ulcers chronic pain
colds and flu headaches
viruses migraines
alcoholism smoking-related respiratory aliments

Reason two: Stress is recognized as the number one killer today. The American Medical Association stated that stress was the cause of 80 to 85 percent of all human illness and disease or at the very least had a detrimental effect on our health.

Reason three: Stress increases heart rate and blood pressure. It changes the inner lining of our blood vessels, making your blood more likely to clot. Stress may change the way cholesterol is handled by your blood vessels and, in doing so, may increase plaque formation.

Reason four: The American Institute of Stress in Yonkers, New York, estimates that 90 percent of all visits to doctors are for stress-related disorders. In women, stress has been linked to fatigue, hair loss, bad complexion, insomnia, disruption of the menstrual cycle, low libido and lack of orgasm, among others. There's even evidence that it can increase your risk of more serious problems such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

Reason five: Other studies show that women who have trouble coping with stress may be at risk of building up dangerous abdominal fat. A study at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, of 42 obese women found that those with abdominal fat (apple shaped) secreted more stress hormones than those who carry extra weight on their hips (pear shaped). It is known that apple-shaped people are more at risk of heart disease.

Reason six: In a study conducted at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York, 122 patients who were in an intensive care unit, reported feeling much better when aromatherapy was administered with the oil of lavender (compared to when they were simply given a massage or allowed to rest.) No changes in the patients who were given aromatherapy was observed in the blood pressure, respiration, or heart rate. The Japanese have reported less mistakes by keypunch operators when exposed to fragrance.

"I am a customer who purchased (for the first time) some products from you when you put out a cry for help to the 3% club members. I am grateful that you did, and that I bought a box with 6 oils and the Brave Heart. I wanted to thank you for the Brave Heart because it got me through an intensely stressful reunion with my mom and brother. I had bought it for another reason –– or so I thought! I left it behind for my Mom because she was helped by it too." Vicky Swan, Deer Park, CA

Several years ago, I began to suffer from what felt like a prolapsed uterus, except I’d had a hysterectomy about 15 years before! My gynecologist explained that what actually was happening was my pelvic floor muscle had weakened, causing my bladder to drop into the vaginal cavity. His only solution was surgery to ‘‘tuck’’ the pelvic floor muscle, which I knew was likely to be only a temporary fix. I decided to explore other options and consulted my holistic doctor, who explained that stress can weaken the pelvic floor muscle. I realized that there seemed to be some relationship between the occurrence of my symptoms and the degree of stress I was experiencing. A friend recommended Stress Reducer oil, and I began using it twice a day, inhaling it several times, and then applying some to the inside of each wrist. After a couple of weeks, I realized that I no longer felt the dropping bladder! In addition, I felt that even though there was still stress in my life, I was able to stay on an even keel –– things that I had been anxious about did not seem to bother me any more. I continue to use Stress Reducer daily. It also helps me sleep without interruption. I have recommended it to many people, because almost everyone has some degree of stress in their life, and I believe in natural solutions!!" Jane Busch, Littleton, CO
